Look What the Bahama Breeze Blew In

Squirrel is home!
She finished with school a little over a week ago and was whisked away to the Bahamas by her best friend the very next day. [Yeah, we should all be so lucky. I know. :D]

She brought us lots of gifts, postcards and pictures!

These are the best friends wonderful parents celebrating their anniversary.

Lobster dinner.
Posted only because my lovely daughter dipped her lobster in  vinegar.
[Yes, we are crab people. This is her first experience with lobster. crab=vinegar/lobster=butter]

Hope you all are having a great Sunday. I know we are :D

And I got a cool t-shirt! We are glad she's home but it will be some time before we let go of the vinegar/lobster thing.

Never heard of vinegar for crab but that is the one seafood I don't eat. I am most definitely a lobster person. Looks like she had a wonderful time and I'll bet the R & R was well deserved!

Never been to the Bahamas...

Your daughter almost was there the same time as my daughter - my daughter is there now and comes home tomorrow. Kids have it good these days, eh?

Wonderful pictures Skippy and she sure is a pretty gal. Linda & I have been to the Bahamas a couple of times and it is fun but we enjoy the time on the cruise ship the best.

Hi Skippy! I can imagine how pleased you are to have Squirrel home with you again. YAY!! How wonderful to be whisked off to the Bahamas. Great photos you have shared with us there - doesn't she look the sophisticated young lady in the photo in the restaurant?! Lovely.

Vinegar on lobster? Sacrilege!

Squirrel would definitely have a career in modeling should she ever give up the dream of being a vet. She looks so very elegant and sophisticated in the photo on the stairway!

It's obvious she had a good time (swimming with dolphins--woot!) but I'm sure she's glad to be home also. Thanks for sharing!

Squirrel Girl has a model-esque look about her. If she were to walk down the street in NYC, she'd probably be discovered.

Wow! What a vacation! (At that age, an outing for my friends and me meant going to the state park for an all-day picnic!)

I was born and raised on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and have caught and eaten seafood all my life, but I have NEVER heard of dipping crab meat in vinegar. Live and learn ...

I've never dipped crab in vinegar, either, but I'm willing to try!

Your daughter is lovely.
