Wallene's New Tattoo

Don't judge.
Read the whole post and see why.....
It's a full leg dragon.
It wraps all the way around.
Look at her smile. She loves it!
I thought the artist did a nice job on the color and shading.
It was done a few weeks ago.

Pretty, right?
Raise your hand if you just gasped.
::Teasing::  I'm crazy, but haven't gone batshit insane [yet.]
That is obviously not a tattoo on my 15 year old daughter.
I thought Wallene did a nice job with her paint markers.
And since it looked so much like a tattoo I thought I would share.
And freak y'all out a little.
"Oh, Skippy's gone around the bend. What is she thinking out there in the sticks?" I can just imagine y'all thinking.
It was such a nice piece of art I let Wallene wear shorts to the grocery store the next day.   I guess full leg tatoos on teenagers are de riguer out here because no one so much as batted an eye.  She even received a few compliments and smiles.
And no one gets to say "Oh, I knew that wasn't a tattoo at first glance."  You know you had to look twice to confirm it wasn't. ::giggling::
Oh, c'mon. Let a girl have her fun.
Hope y'all have a fabulous weekend.  Smile loudly. Life is a gift.
See ya' on the flipside Tadpoles. xo Janine
P.S.  That is not a dress Wallene is wearing in the pics. It is a top. She scooched her shorts up to show the dragon.  Thanks!

That is amazing....I did have a moment of "well I knew you were the coolest mom around..but she's awfully young"...I will be honest...I am not sure it would surprise me :giggle:
So much fun to be able to draw like there anything that she can't do :)
Love to you all...have an awesome weekend! (PS- I owe you an email...or two...but I had a crazy migraine last night...forgive me :))

Good joke, Skippy! I was reading your post, looking at the picture, and trying to figure out what in the world kind of comment I could make. Actually, it is beautiful. Many tattoos are beautiful but the worst part is that they are permanent. My youngest son has a dragon that is permanent, plus a lot of other stuff.

You got me there for a second!! I love that no one batted an eye!

I love seeing your comments on my blog, even with your spotty internet, it totally makes my day!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend my friend!!

That's a beautiful dragon. You nearly got me there hehe. At least she didn't do as my daughter Malin did a month ago or so, she told me she was going to do a 'little' tattoo on her shoulders, I thought that could be cool. But...when she showed the picture of it when it was finished...I nearly choked on my coffee lol it was a BIG one...oh dear...
Hope you have a lovely weekend too!!
Hugs x

I'm still gonna say it, because I KNEW a tat wouldn't fly past you! Not. Fooled. At. All.

Besides, there would have been claw marks from you trying to scratch it off were it real...

She's beautiful and I love the "tattoo." She's obviously very talented too.

I knew it wouldn't be a real tattoo... This is awesome, especially done with markers! I've always wanted to be a better artist!

I don't know how I missed this. Very cool! Tattoos are everywhere here to the point where it's less common to not have one in some demographics I think. My daughter and I are going to get matching ones one day.

I have 2 tattoos. One is on my ankle and when it was new, a little boy walked up to me and said "OH NO!!! Someone drew ALL OVER you!"

Just thought I'd share. :)

Yes it is pretty and it's amazing that now days young women can get tattoos without being looked down on. My youngest has 11 tattoos and is wanting more

Keep to a timetable for most extreme excellence advantage. You don't need to plan everything, except you do need to plan your suppers. Studies have indicated that individuals who are predictable with their schedules concerning nourishment and drink, look years more youthful, and live more, than individuals who are sporadic with their eating times.
