I have been awake since 3 am. No, I do not want to be awake and I could feasibly be sleeping because I am dog tired, but.....
My wonderful neighbors are on vacation. Their 20 year old neice stayed behind with her 20 something boyfriend.
And?
They decided it would be a great idea to sit on the back deck talking, drinking, smoking and making out.
All.night.long.
I think they got the hint around 5:15 when I turned on our back porch light and kitchen light - it lit up their little party quite nicely. [I know, I know - passive aggressive much? I just didn't feel like getting dressed to ask them politely to take it inside.]
They have gone back inside and I want to go back to bed but I have to be up at 7 am anyway. Grrrr.
This is going to be a long day.

I'd have stuck my nose out the door at midnight and asked them to go inside please - reminded them that sounds travel clearly at night and they might prefer some privacy. It's possible they simply didn't realize they weren't entirely alone. Maybe you can sneak in a nap later.
What?, you took no pictures and offered them to them for a price not to show them to all their families?????????. aw man, you had a perfect little money making deal and you let it slip through your sleepy little fingers. You can't go without sleep, just like I can't right now. BE GOOD, SLEEP WELL.

Maybe you should have turned on all the lights at 3 AM.
Now you need to turn on the leaf blower, lawn mower, weed eater, and get some revenge.
I'm with Linda. I want pictures! THe flash might have sent them inside.

Perhaps you should have just gone over in your robe and joined them. Start talking incessantly about your daily routine and how nice it is to have someone to talk to in the wee hours of the morning.....
You should have put a spotlight on their activities a lot sooner.
