You Know It's Cold When. . .

It's time to turn the space heater on in the bathroom.

Yep! Fall showed up today. With a vengeance. It is barely 50 degrees F here this morning and that is down right cold Tadpoles.  Doesn't look like it is going to get much warmer than 53 today, so it is time to pull out the blue jeans and sweaters. YAY!

It actually snowed in the mountains west of us.

It also appears that this chilly weather is going to hang around for a while.  Which is fine by me, as long as we at least HAVE fall and don't go straight into a winter wonderland. You guys know me and know I love snow, but let's hold off until after Thanksgiving, 'kay? Thanks.

If you need me, you know where I'll be. :)

Oh, and you Canadian Tadpoles?  You can stop laughing at me now. I know this is balmy to y'all. heehee

Have a good one gang.  We'll see ya' on the flipside.

Good Morning Skippy, hope you stay snuggly warm today :) It's rainy and dull here in Dublin. A perfect day to stay indoors. Enjoy your Day!
Hugs

I complained yesterday because a lot of trees had just suddenly turned overnight and leaves were drifting down everywhere. Then the wind came in. Although you'd think I'd be used to it by now - I don't manage cold well and never have. I always thought God made a mistake and I was supposed to be born in the tropics. I do NOT find 50 balmy at all - except in the spring to melt the snow. It's 41 here and that's probably up from the low overnight. The cat refused to go outside. Guess I'll be cleaning kitty litter again. I need a space heater in my bathroom.

50 degrees is winter to me. it's nice and cool here this morning for a change and I hope it lasts for more than one day. but we are a far cry from turning on the heaters.

Fall is my favorite season. We still have warm days here in CO, but the morning are very crisp.

It's freezing here, too. 41 degrees and rather blustery. I wore layers of wool out and about last night and I did consider bringing the space heater out, too, but caved and turned on the furnace.

Our fall consists right now of temps in the mid 80's during the day and 50's at night. As long as I can open the window at night I'm happy.

But I long for a space heater in my bathroom. I'm jealous.

cool weather means hot cocoa and lots of homemade soup

Hi Skippy. Isn't that funny - you've got the cooler weather, and we are having a heatwave at the moment over here. It was 75 degrees here today, which is far hotter than we've had all through the summer!! I know that you will be delighted to be able to wear your collection of sweaters again! Sending hugs to you.

one benefit to this "old folks home" is there is a heater in the ceiling that you turn on with a switch on the wall. it's kind of like what you'd see in a hotel. warms the bathroom up nicely so when ron is ready to get out of the shower, it's nice and toasty.

it's been getting cool here but warming back up to the 80s. supposed to be cooler this coming week.

I just love when it starts getting all chilly and and blustery. YAY! Yay for cozy sweaters and scarves and hot tea and fires in the fireplace.

In Tucson it never gets very cold and never snows. I wish it would. Snow is fun. And so so pretty.
