Just a Skippy kind of Girl Living in a Loopy kind of World
oh! I count down lunch making days too! Only 7 more lunches, although school isn't over until the 17th!
woo hoo! we still have 5 weeks of school left to go and then 6 weeks off... yipee!
Now there's a reason to celebrate! I have to say my Momness was in serious question when it came to lunch making. Bag lunch - or any lunch really - or breakfast which suffered more - was not my forte. To be honest, sometimes dinner isn't so great either. It's funny, but it was good to have the kids home on the weekends and summer & holidays. It's still good.
Gee, when I was a kid my mom would say "Ugh, summer vacation again" and then tell us all the jobs we had to do around the house. Wallene is lucky girl!! Cute post.Hugs.
I was never so happy as when the last kid was out of school. no more lunches, no more getting up to an alarm clock.
That will be lovely for you to have Wallene home for the whole summer!! (And, of course, no more lunches to make. Yay!!).
Back at work after spending the day with Linda yesterday. It actually feels good to be at work instead of sitting in a hospital room. I am a keep moving kind of guy. Have a great one.
Well, school has well and truly finished for Paul - last exam ws on monday!! Off now till the end of august and then he;s a big college boy!!Peter has another couple of weeks mind you - and at that only 2 full days each week, plus a half day. The half day, he usually goes for lunch at college with one of his workers.
It just occurred to me ...... I hope that the school fed Gavin lunch while I was his caretaker. He would have said something ..... wouldn't he?
yay! Miss V is done at 12:22 tomorrow!! yippeee, the real start of summer!!!
I think I might croak if I had 11 more days of school! Of course, I'm sure Wallene doesn't feel that way...plus, they probably didn't start until later in the year than I did.
yay little man only has 7 left
You made me chuckle. I was never a huge fan of packing all those school lunches, but WAS a fan of summer vacations. Hope you guys have a super one.
Well that's exciting.I don't think I appreciated the summers off enough when I was a youngster. Now I wish I had!
