The Snowmen Have Invaded!

I have had the house decorated for over a week [Thanks Gang!] but it took me until yesterday to get batteries and a new memory card for my camera.

These aren't all of them, but you'll get the idea. :)
Enjoy!

My newest one.  He is an advent calendar too! Squee!
[He is also surrounded by 14 more snowmen I forgot to photograph. Oops. I am too tired. Sorry. :D]
No, I haven't been known to sleep with this one.
Why do you ask?
The kitchen table.

The Pez guy is one of my favorites.
These minis are perched on top of the DVR player.
What?  I was running out of "dog free" places to put them.

These three bear some explaining.  The one hanging on the door knob is a snowman pillow and there is one on every single door in the house.  The one in the middle is to sort of a "hide the bungee cord" snowman. [Yes, I realize, it isn't working out so well. heehee] And the snowman bag on the right holds the bungee cord when we open the back door.  [The bungee cord is to keep Scooby from getting out of the back door. Trust me.]
 My favorite display.

These guys are great. They grow and shrink depending on where I want to put them. They are about half way up here.
My very first snowman. He stays up year round in the Master bedroom.
He visits the living room in December.
Our "Party Guys" on the couch.  The penguin just thinks he is a snowman.  We don't let on.
And the final pic' is of our tree [if you can click on it you will see a few more of my friends.] Our stockings are hung up on the banister to the right.

Hope it helps to put you in a jolly mood - makes me smile everytime I come downstairs.

See ya' soon.

Is there a theme here?!?!?!?!
No tree up here yet - if i put it up too early, Peter goes into count the sleeps meltdown. But we've had Muppet Christmas Carol on several times, so the spirit is steadily dripping!!

Your snowmen look great- I have begun collecting snowmen as well but I don't have as many as you do! I have decorations up but no tree as yet. I am hoping to get it this weekend, but cheergirlie has requested that we don't put any ornament on til she gets home- she loves decorating the Christmas tree! So once we get it- my tree will have just white lights on it til about the 19th!

Good god, woman, you have a ton of decorations! Afterseeing these pictures, I'm looking around my house and thinking we might be Scrooge McGrincherson. I can't imagine how long it takes you to put all that out. It looks SO nice and festive! So worth it.

Gee, I had no idea you disliked snowmen this much ...! Seriously, they're all adorable, but my absolute favorites are the two who look like they're doing a happy dance. I'd have to leave them out all year round, because just looking at them makes me smile.

I love your snowmen! What a fantastic collection - and a good way to nurse an obsession if you have to have one right? Because who can say it's excessive? It's wonderful! I haven't managed to do anything Christmasy yet unless you count grinding the nuts up for the baklava and taking the phylo out of the freezer. I did get my kid to take the recliner back downstairs (the one I slept on after the surgery) so I'd have a place to put the tree. So at least I'm making some effort in the general direction. But my home will not be decorated to the nines by any stretch.

Thank you for having more snowmen than me. I'll have to tell my husband that so I can go buy more. This year I got one, a snowman napkin holder and a snowman puzzle. Somehow I don't think that is enough.

I love the snowflake snowmen! and a lovely tree. the only thing I miss about not celebrating christmas is the tree and the lights. I love the ornaments and if I could figure out an artistic way to display them I would be buying them all the time. I used to buy one every year for my daughter but then they stopped getting a big tree. Just a little one now which doesn't hold very many ornaments. sigh.

Hi Skippy. I love your tree, and the decorated house looks lovely and cosy. I LOVE all your cute snowmen. What a super collection you have there! I love the two on the shelf that seem to be dancing. Hope you feel less tired very soon my dear friend. Take care of yourself. Hugs.

So sweet! My little guy loves snowmen. I may have to start my own snowman tradition. Love it, Skippy!

They are all wonderful. I collected snowmen when we lived in MN. I had a big house to display them in. Not so much now. I still haven't mustered up the decorating spirit. I have done the outside, but not the inside ........ Yours is so festive and I will just enjoy yours!

It looks like it could be my house!! (I may have 400+ snowmen?!) I used to put them all out, but now I rotate every year.

Sadly, its too early to decorate at my house - boo hoo! (Tony doesn't know it but when he gets home from the hospital our tree will be up and it will be snowman palooza!)

Hugs!
