One day, I met a friend at Starbucks to trade some teaching materials. When I left, I noticed a lady sitting in her car in the parking lot, with her laptop, just soaking up the free wi-fi. Not a bad idea, I suppose, every once in a while.

Are you sure the lack of 'net access isn't simply a way to get to go to Starbucks? I assume DQ doesn't have free Wi-fi? Heh.
Bought some Pumpkin Spice whole bean coffee (thank you for the coffee grinder, my dear!) yesterday. Ppphhttt. Waste of money. Will have to doctor it up a bit with my own spices and cream and maybe even a splash of bourbon. Don't hate.
word vert: nothe. I have nothe. Or, the nothe flew too close to the flame. Take your pick.
Though I know you can't do this one, I have a particular fondness for a grande salted caramel hot chocolate. It's good even without the salt.
Can't you just move into Starbucks?

I'm sorry about your internet! But a pumpkin spiced latte sounds pretty fantastic. When I go to Starbucks I usually just get the Pike Place Roast with a shot of caramel (much cheaper =) but someday I'll 'splurge' and try the Pumpkin Spice. Mmmmm.
Why must I boycott the Starbucks? I think my husband brainwashed me not to like it. I should check out their baked goods.
