Holy Sodium Batman!

Did you know these:

Have only 30 milligrams of sodium per slice?  I did not.
Now I do.

This makes Skippy a very happy girl.

So....

Yes, I know this is Superman.
This is the image I found.
Just work with the title, please. hee
Hee hee....happy day!

Have a spectacular Saturday Tadpoles! WOOT!

I found a box of those in the back of my freezer. I think I bought them when I was prego with Clara. I should have sent them to you! (how rotten could they have gotten/) :0)

Skippy, no, no, put them down, back away. It's 3o milligrams per slice and that picture looks like an awful lot of slices. Sorry I wasn't around, internet problems. Now I'm back so you behave yourself. Luvs ya!!!!!

I love Steak-ums, but we almost never have them because of how greasy they are. Tessa's right, although if you shred one up and mix it with veggies like a Phillie Cheesesteak that should work and still be filling....

I can have 1,000 mg a day gang! 30x5 would be 150 mg - which is a lot less then a serving of lunch meat - 260 or peanut butter - 240 [for a sandwich].

For the record tho' - I only really eat two at a time - the Superman image is just one I found while googling Steak ums. [I thought it was funny]

What is really interesting tho' - is I discovered that Pooldad had bought the generic brand [still YUM!] and they have only 20 mg per slice....so even if I did have 5 - that would be 100 mg. Heck I could eat the whole box and still be way under for lunch or dinner. [And I don't like cheese on them....just plain. :)]

Thanks - but don't worry Tessa and A....it's all good.

[And Amy I hope you threw those out. heehee ick]

Out of curiosity, I checked the costco natural peanut butter we have - 0 sodium. If there is a health store near you that grinds the peanut butter you could probably make a smaller amount with unsalted peanuts. If you even like peanut butter.
