Who Knew?

Well THAT was interesting.

I didn't realize so many people read my blog - but if the commentators who de lurked themselves on my bank post [since retracted] are any indication - then um, wow.

I just wish that people that felt the need to call me names and make really bad analogies [lesbians? my husband? sex? HUH?] would read a bit more of my blog before doing so because?  They obviously don't know me very well if they thought those types of things warranted saying.

I don't think I worded that post well and I take responsibility for it - but it was too late to fix it and you guys know that I hardly ever respond in comments. I certainly don't want to start a war, especially a holy one. Hence why I removed it.

Thanks for the overwhelming support from my tadpoles.  And for making me laugh.  Always for making me laugh. heehee

I actually learned something tho' - did any of you know that pointsettias are, in fact, THE symbol representing the birth of baby Jesus.  Yep.  Completely Christian. [NOT] Hey - I just thought it would look nice with the Christmas tree the bank employees had put in the lobby.  Oops.  My bad.

Well I am off to make more of my famous Jesus, Mary and Joseph cookies.  Then I think I will go to the mall and find an unsuspecting retail clerk who I can insult with my obvious attempt to try and convert them.  ::headdesk::

Sarcasm:  It's not just for breakfast anymore.

Oh My now I am really confused. You mean that because someone was rude to you and you blogged about it that someone else climbed up in their pulpit and came down on you for your opinion? Hmmmmmmmmm, yep, I've heard this one or at least a verse of the same song.
And wow is right, I need to ask you sometime all about that Mexican flower being THE thing of which you spake. But the vert word is perfect. I bet that your delurkers know exactly where kededbal is. I do, it is not far from whatthehellsportsfans.
And by the way Who gives a flying farthing what anyone else bitches about anyway.

Well, I didn't read any of those comments. when I read your post, the only ones were supportive well except for the one from the NYjew (that's how she described herself, not my description) but I didn't think it was too terrible. the point is that, muslim or not, husband dominated or not, she is living here, is employed by a bank here and unless this was her first day in this country and her first day at this job she should have known better. What bank has a policy of having a non account holder sign on another person's account for a withdrawal? She was wrong. And her action was rude and insulting. I wouldn't have called over the bank manager but I certainly would have given her an 'excuse me' moment. Sorry you were so rudely treated by people. Funny how so many people won't comment unless they want to flame someone.

Wow! Sounds like I missed a crazy week in the blogging world!

I read the post on my reader and think that you had every right to be upset. Pooldad was not on the accout. PERIOD. She could have lost her job over that.

I am sure you would have been just as upset had anyone else been behind the counter.

Gee, I missed it all! Like the person who referred to me as a racist ........... Just shows how very ignorant they are of the subject matter. Had the teller been black, you, too might have been a racist. But seems like an expert on religion chimed in and overlooked the fact that the post was about the inept BANK TELLER who happened to have different religious beliefs ..........

Wish you hadn't deleted your last post, but I get that yucky feeling that sits in the pit of one's stomach when comments are less than pleasant, aka: mean and assholy!...and by holy I don't mean as in Christ!
Don't let it get you down girl, you have a gift, you expressed yourself, I give you so much credit (and I love that you still got your shot in in this post! ~this is me sticking my tongue out at those who were mean to you~)

well I had that "other" post up all day trying to comment, and now that I went to comment, I can't. So here I am on this another post. First off, I would have hissed at her supervisor and made a big 'ole scene in the bank. (that's how I am). then I would have called the newspaper AND the local TV. (that's how I am). That then hissed at the teller again. Whoever there evil lurkers are. Lemme at 'em! Grrrr!!

Leave for a week and see what happens - I miss all the good stuff!

Sounds like you had your hands full of crappola. You went to the bank for service, not insults. True? Leave it to some folks to just not get it in any way, shape, or form.
