Well known fact: I love snowmen.
They are the one true collection in our home that I started myself. My wonderful husband then started a tradition of gifting me a snowman a day for the whole month of December so...I have a LOT of them.
But there is always room for one more.
Enter "Ronny"
[He is my only snowman with a name. You will know why in a moment.]
Now, normally I would not post about snowmen in April, especially with the horrific weather we are having here - tornadoes don't exactly bring to mind snow, but....the thought behind this gift we received yesterday and the accompanying letter are so hysterical I had to share:
Please click the letter in order to read it - And yes, for the record, I do belong to the Bloggers for the Ethical Treatment of Snowman Society.
Tee over at Middle Side of Life is the brilliant mind behind this clever gift. She is downsizing their home for their upcoming move and wanted to find a good home for this little guy and thought of me.I laughed so hard at the letter Wallene made me sit down so I could breath. Snow kidding.
Thank you Tee and to all of you for thinking of me and lifting my spirits every single day. Your thoughtful blog posts, emails, and phone calls go a long way to giving me the smiles so I make it from "here" to "there" every day. You are such an entertaining crew and keep me going. Please know that.
Thank you all.
Truly.

I'll send all my snow your way so you can make your own. oh, wait, we don't get snow.
LOL - we're so tickled that you liked it. Ron says thanks for the name... he has one thing in common with Ronny... neither of them have a leg to stand on (hehehe!)
hugs...
That was a brilliant idea. Teresa you are just too clever and Skippy you are the perfect SnowMom for him. Love it.

I collect snowmen too. I like them because you can keep them out much longer than pure Christmas stuff. I may have to check out that website
