Cute little cartoon! I guess most of us would say the same reasons that you have already mentioned. Hope you're having a good weekend. Bright sunshine here, but still a bit nippy!!
So true! I have a 7 year old reason to get up. He's also the reason I can laugh and smile at the confusions of life... as long as little man is healthy and happy that's all I'm concerned with.
I guess I get up because that's what needs to be done? ;-) Actually I get up so that I can get going on my day and hopefully have a bit of time to play in my sewing room when the work is done.
I get up early to see my hubby off to work with a hug and a kiss because that little bit of lovin starts me off on the right foot (and he works so late most nights that I never know when the next opportunity will be)... and to feed my pets (because they are spoiled and would not dream of letting me sleep in), but it works out well because getting up early allows me to enjoy coffee, the sunrise, and "me" time, so that I can give my son my full attention when he gets up. Love Calvin and Hobbes too! We have a Calvin and Hobbes book and I can't wait to share it with my son as he gets older and understands it more. So funny!!

I get up because it's too uncomfortable to keep laying there. I get up because things need to be done.
I need to find a new purpose. This is depressing.
Laughter is always good but it doesn't get me out of bed. Generally, we do a lot of laughing IN bed (but then Dex is an endless source of amusement)
I get up because I enjoy my job and communicating with my blog family.
boobies...
oh wait... what? this was not sexually undertoned was it?
yeah i did go there...
i really have no filter...
LOL - I get up because I have a job. I get up to tend to Ron. I get up to drink coffee. I get up to go to the bathroom. I get up because my bed sucks.
Not necessarily in that order... {grin}
my son
all of the above and I love mornings. Yes probably crazy but that lovely fresh start of a day is just my thing.
Family, friends, books....:)I love Calvin and Hobbes..
I hate mornings! So getting up is my least favourite thing to do lol
But I do get up because my kids need me otherwise it would be the duvet over the head and sleep zzzzzzzzzzz
I get up to watch the sunrise and have an hour or so to myself here in the tin can on wheels.
I miss Calvin and Hobbes.
My alarm clock tells me to.
