Say your prayers, my friends

Hi my friends. This is Emily, one of Skippy's daughters. Mom is ill and in the hospital, but she is a FIGHTER and we are all hoping for the best. We are not posting anything on facebook for privacy reasons. Please say a prayer and send positive thoughts.

Much love, Emily
P.S. For those of you that have my father's phone and email, you are welcome to  communicate with him.

2nd Man and I are the ones that shared our recipe for sausage gravy and biscuits, she always mentioned it when we metaled. W will send healing thoughts and energy and prayers her direction. When you talk to her, let he know, she'll remember us well. What a sweet lovely lady your Mom is. Sending strength to her and love to all of you.

Thank you for posting this, Emily. I have been very worried about your mum, and I actually wrote to Teresa, another one of mum's friends today, asking if she had heard anything. I had sort of guessed that something wasn't quite right. I will continue to pray for mum and all your lovely little family. Please tell your dad that I am thinking of you all. Your mum is a constant inspiration to all of us. This is Diane (known to your mum as Miss Christmas Spirit!) from Devon in England. Stay strong.

She emailed us last May when we had the torrential flooding to check on us. Today we are having torrential rains again and I was thinking of her. We're still sending love and positive energy her direction. Please tell her "1st Man and 2nd Man" said hello!!!

Getting quite concerned now, but will continue to pray for you all. Sending healing thoughts.

Update--Skippy still in ICU. Three weeks tomorrow, All prognosis is cautious but still hopeful. Looking like a liver transplant and kidneys are "iffy". I am prepared in either case. (If you all know what I mean) All doctors involved are still on board to move on to get her vitals at better levels. She has slightly improved the last several days.

Please know she has been treated with dignity throughout. All doctor's and nurses are passionate and keep me updated at all times. I obviously cannot spend all day at the hospital. (Grass grows, leaves fall, bills, etc.. Plus the girls still need Dad)

I literally have not been able to speak with Janine at all. I am making decisions on her behalf as her Medical Power of Attorney. Your thoughts and prayers are driving us. You tadpoles are very awesome. Janine is lucky to have you all.

Hugs and Love--Pooldad

Dear Pooldad, Emily and Evie. I was so pleased to hear from you, as I know we all will be. It must be such an awful time for you all.. Sending you all a big hug and all we can do is to keep sending up those prayers. Perhaps next time we will hear better news. With love from Diane, Miss Christmas Spirit x

Dearest Pooldad, Emily and Evie,

I have not been on blogger for a while and have only just noticed that Janine has been awol from Facebook as I am not on it as regularly as I used to be.

I am hoping and praying that she will pull through. She is one amazing woman who has the best and most loving family around her. I always love to hear her stories and she was such a brilliant support to myself, Holly and Jack. Millions of miles separate us but she is always in my thoughts.

Sending love and hugs to you all

I am devastated and so sorry that I haven't been on here. I didn't think to check here. I was just thinking the other day, "It's been a while since I've heard from Skipper." I should have checked. Thinking about your beautiful family.
