New Game! Anonymous says. . .

Forget the A-Z recipe challenge I gave myself.

Can't do it. I have neither the strength nor the energy to care enough to write up a recipe post one time, let alone one each day for almost four weeks.

Therefore. . .in the interest of not having to clean the cobwebs off of this blog again I will post a quote for each of the 26 letters of the alphabet.

Sound good? Well, tough beans because that is what is going up. ha!

And maybe one day when my Super Skippy Strength and my "Yes, I actually do care" attitude returns I will gather up all the quotes and needlepoint them somewhere. Impress my friends, my family. . .the world!

Then again?
Maybe not.

I do think I can manage one quote a day for 26 days. Besides which I figure I can knock them all out in one evening, set them to autopost and you guys won't even notice I am not around while I go through the next round of the ::fun:: and ::exciting:: side effects of the soon to be administered, but never before tried by Skippy, new drugs.

Life is pretty darn good and I am not complaining. I promise. What's to complain about anyway? I am here, alive, relatively healthy and with more love than a girl knows what to do with, eh? ::smiling:: Lucky me! And yes, I do mean that.

I am just worn out Tadpoles.  Plain and simple, just worn ooooout.  Worn out but with a smile on my face and a happy, light heart.

As Anonymous said:  "It will be alright in the end.  And if it isn't alright then it isn't the end."

There ya' go.
I began with my very favorite quote.
How's that for a rollicking start? ::hee::

You guys are the best!  We'll be seein' ya' on the flipside of 25 days/posts.

Smile loudly gang. Life is a gift. xo Skip

Hi my friend. I think you're wise to duck out of posting every day for the whole of April, BUT I do think the quote idea is a great one! I just love quotes, and you have given us a really good one to start the ball rolling. Really sorry to hear that you're not so good again at the moment. Let's hope this new drug will do great things, so that you can get all your energy back. Sending big hugs from across the pond x

Love this idea. And fr the record, most of us did our posts in March and are on auto pilot now. :) The bummer part is that I have so much to share, and no format in which to share it all until May. So May's posts will start out with "What you missed in April"

Oh, I like this A-Z challenge much better. Especially since I'm trying to stick to a "diet" and reading recipes every day would make me cry!
Hope you're able to find "the" drug of choice and get to feeling better. :)

I love that quote, very good. I'm always in the lookout for great and meaningful quotes, some has become my motto to live by...I've been having my nose down at the papers and pencils today most of the day, and taking a quiet moment to read what my bloggy friends are up to before scooting to bed. Hope you will gain your energy soon my friend. Big hugs from Ireland :)

Yeah I don't think I could muster up the energy or the wherewithal to do the A to Z thing either. And besides I just want to write about whatever hits me now what's on some schedule. I like your quote too.

It's a perfect quote. And everything WILL work out in the end. And the end will just be a new beginning.

big hugs babe.

I can't say that I blame you. Kinda reminds me of a really good made-up word: exhaustipated. Too tired to give a crap. HA!

I love the idea of doing quotes, anyway. Have fun with it. (In theory, I'm on "break", but I wanted to check in on you.)

To diminish face puffiness toward the beginning of the day, utilize your tongue to hold an ice block at the top of your mouth for a moment. The cold from the ice shape assists with diminishing puffiness from the back to front. This will accomplish a similar outcome that sprinkling your face with ice water does.
