Too Pooped to Post. . .Almost!

We went to downtown Washington DC to see the blossoms today.
[This was at the end of our day.]
After our two mile trek around the Tidal Basin I had to find a place to rest my weary bones:

No, I don't suffer from allergies. Thank goodness. :D

Now that we are home this is about all I can manage [sorry!] but I will be back tomorrow to show you the gorgeous Cherry Blossoms in all their splendor.

This was my view when I opened my eyes lying on the bench.
It really was a great day. :)  We saw so much more than just the blossoms. It was awesome.
See ya' on the flipside Tadpoles. Take care and have a great Tuesday.

You know, I see your name pop up over at Jeannie's "Going Incognito" blog all the time, so, I thought I'd stop over and see just who you are and stuff. I don't know, (or remember), how Jeannie and I started blog-posting comments back and forth.
Anyway, you are Skippy. I like that name. How'd ya get it? And I'm a tadpole. Well, I do have a backbone.
Can't say I'll be a regular, but glad I stopped by. Pleased to make your cyber acquaintance.
Love the blossoms in Spring time, Oh, and love Baseball. Are you a real fan, or just wear the Nationals hat? I like the Brewers, but they traded Prince and Braun got off on a technicality, so the just is out. I might start creeping for Detroit.
Nice visit. Nice place you have here Skippy.

Peace

Gosh, I can imagine you were pooped after walking all that way, although I'm sure the blossoms were worth it. What a wonderful photo there, showing us what you could see from your lying down position. Can't wait to see more photos. Have a good rest today my friend x

Wonderful! Skip, you would have been so proud of Tony yesterday - his gout was so bad on his right elbow and hand it was rendered useless, yet he went to the store, bought me some wine and made his famous stir fry for my birthday dinner. I tried several times to take over, but he wouldn't let me.

Love!

Hmmmph. Dunno what happened. I thought I posted a comment hours ago, but it isn't here. Let's see if I can remember what I wrote the first time. The cherry blossoms are gorgeous, and you framed them perfectly. Very artistic. But the picture of Wallene is even better, because it's the personification of "joy". As for the weight loss, maybe you're gonna have to do what I did when I lost a ton of weight, I carried a pillow with me to park my bony backside on. Didn't make it entirely pain-free, but it sure helped.
