Meet Oscar

Well...Bert didn't want to leave "home", so Pooldad and I went for our next [and equally great] choice. . .

::Drumroll::

Meet Oscar!
He is a 2013 Chevy Spark.
He is a sub, sub compact - or as we like to say "3 hamsters and a rubber band under the hood."  heehee
 His color is "Jalapeno"
Cool, huh?
Wallene took all the pics - very artistic, eh?

Here is Oscar parked next to Blue - our mini van.
I get the place of honor in the driveway. :)

If you don't see me around for a few days it's only because I am out driving the happiest car in Sterling, VA!
Or planning my upcoming roadtrip.
Now where ARE those passport papers?

See ya on the flipsdie Tadpoles! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Beep! Beep!

ETA:  SO COOL! I went out to the garage at 3 am [couldn't sleep] and set up my ON STAR and my hands free calling. How exciting is that?  And the calling is voice activated. Squeeeeee!  Except it wouldn't allow me to voice activate using my real name [for my phone] and Wallene's name [for her phone] because they sound too much alike.  Now most of you know our names - how weird is THAT? giggle So I just used "Momma" instead. Y'know in case someone else ::gasp:: is driving my car. :)

It is now 6:30 am and I am out of milk to make frosting for our cinnamon rolls so I am off to the store - then to take Wallene to work, next church - and finally a visit with our grandmama! Good day. Great day! Enjoy!

I love the cheerful color of your new car! (Admittedly, green is my favorite color). I haven't seen any of this color car in my area, so'll you'll be easy to spot if you decide to drive to the Chicago area :-P

I name cars too. Mine is Shelby. Whitney named hers Olivia.

You seem to like boy names for your cars. I thought all cars were girls.

Did I miss something, or did you kick Bert to the curb??
I do like the green color better though :)

Aww poor Bert! He was no use to you if you wouldn't leave the driveway! lol Love the new car though, great colour.

Oh, that's a shame about poor Bert, but it obviously wasn't meant to be! Wallene has done a good job, and I absolutely live the colour of Oscar. I hope you'll have many happy hours together x

I love my hands free calling. No blindly searching when the phone rings. It's fantastic. Enjoy your new ride! :)

Out with Bert... in with Ernie. No, wait, in with OSCAR. (Not a grouch, though, I'm sure.) Cute car, and unique color. Have fun with it! 12:34

OMG! It's Oscar! I do think I should be meeting him in person in near future. Yes?
Chevy has really stepped up their game. We have a Tahoe. Onstar is pretty awesome.

Passport papers for road trippin'? It doesn't seem I have my own credentials in order.

Oh, I really, really like Oscar! No offense Bert, but Oscar has it hands down! Have you met my Hermione? She started out as Hector but had a sex change. I'll post her pic in a day or two if you haven't seen her. :-D

Hi Oscar. Hope you feel good everyday and give great mileage and service for a long time to come! We name our cars too. I drive Zuki, my old beat up but trusty 1995 Suzuki Sidekick. The rest of the clan has Zoom Zoom, our 2007 Mazda CX-9. Of course I have my motorcycle too, but it needs a name. Can you help? (I'll have to send you a photo).
In the meantime, I have been absent fro the pages of many friends. Been so busy, especially the past 2 weeks, but things are settling down for now and I'm planning a road trip on the bike.
Thanks for making stops over at my place. You're the best. Hope all is going well for you and your family.

Much Peace sent your way.
