my son burns easily and when he was about 12 he went to a water park with a friend and they spent all day. yes, I sent sunscreen with him but did he use it? no. he came home with the worst sunburn I have ever seen. He was so burned he looked purple. his back and chest was one big blister and he sat on the couch leaning forward for days (too painful to touch anything) sopping up the fluid as it leaked out. he peeled, blistered again and peeled again. when he finally healed, he was covered in freckles. he did learn his lesson, always uses sunscreen and wears a t-shirt.
lovely....as always...I love seeing this part of your creativity...you've been hiding it from us for the last few years :)...glad that you got to see squirrel...hugs and love to you..
poor thing! i have burned like that a time or two. not fun. vinegar works well to take out the sting if you can get past the smell. lol! dab it on with cotton ball. saturate the cotton ball and let it dribble down the burn.
Hi Skippy. Another really funny comic for us today (loved the lobster!!). It did make me smile my friend. How wonderful that you had a trip to see your Squirrel. I bet she was SO pleased to see you all. Enjoy Independence Day, and don't go eating TOO much!!! Hugs x
So happy you had the fun visit in Pa. and family time. Linda & I have had a very relaxing and wonderful time here at the Celebrity Dairy, seeing a variety of animals including a 6 ft. black snake this morning. He didn't bother anyone and went on his way. Tomorrow we will have another great breakfast and then head back home to reunite with our Rocky. Take care.
Love the comic made me think of hubby as he is the one who always and I mean always gets sunburnt he just doesn't learn, you would think a 50yr old man would know to apply sunscreen but not he doesn't.
As for the yuck feeling you get when using someones computer I so understand I feel like that when I use my daughters it just doesn't feel right and she says the same thing about using this one she prefers her own.......
Excellent! But I think you've ruined my highly anticipated lobster dinner for me! Hee.
ReplyDeleteword vert: sessess. The written notes and comics are definitely a sessess.
Poor baby!
ReplyDeleteI used to think that if I wasn't lobster red, I hadn't gotten ENOUGH sun.
Times change!
oh, poor thing.
