  3. Now there's a reason to celebrate! I have to say my Momness was in serious question when it came to lunch making. Bag lunch - or any lunch really - or breakfast which suffered more - was not my forte. To be honest, sometimes dinner isn't so great either. It's funny, but it was good to have the kids home on the weekends and summer & holidays. It's still good.

  4. Gee, when I was a kid my mom would say "Ugh, summer vacation again" and then tell us all the jobs we had to do around the house. Wallene is lucky girl!! Cute post.Hugs.

  5. I was never so happy as when the last kid was out of school. no more lunches, no more getting up to an alarm clock.

  7. Back at work after spending the day with Linda yesterday. It actually feels good to be at work instead of sitting in a hospital room. I am a keep moving kind of guy. Have a great one.

  8. Well, school has well and truly finished for Paul - last exam ws on monday!! Off now till the end of august and then he;s a big college boy!!
Peter has another couple of weeks mind you - and at that only 2 full days each week, plus a half day. The half day, he usually goes for lunch at college with one of his workers.

  9. It just occurred to me ...... I hope that the school fed Gavin lunch while I was his caretaker. He would have said something ..... wouldn't he?

  11. I think I might croak if I had 11 more days of school! Of course, I'm sure Wallene doesn't feel that way...plus, they probably didn't start until later in the year than I did.

  14. Well that's exciting.

I don't think I appreciated the summers off enough when I was a youngster. Now I wish I had!
