We have fields all round us, but we feed a couple of ferrel cats and we have never seen a mouse in the house in the 13 years that we have lived here. (I'm glad to say!!).Southhamsdarlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12285980805569582676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5639216165860450331.post-1482597917481782152011-01-24T09:26:12.196-05:002011-01-24T09:26:12.196-05:00We've had the odd mouse - I know they aren'...We've had the odd mouse - I know they aren't supposed to be singular but in our case they do seem to be. Found one drowned in the kitchen sink (he used to steal the Beneful dog food, take it under the stove and sort it into separate piles - guess he liked some more than others.) Found one drowned in the toilet. Easy disposal. And the cat got the last one. These were all at least a year apart. Other than the last one, there were never poops found anywhere. Must have done their stuff in the walls.Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15320507412459242451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5639216165860450331.post-87469247993811547052011-01-24T09:00:27.763-05:002011-01-24T09:00:27.763-05:00Wasn't there a movie about that crazy family i...Wasn't there a movie about that crazy family in the house next to the empty lot? bwahahahaBBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09432729957196570774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5639216165860450331.post-83475726356871434692011-01-24T07:56:46.551-05:002011-01-24T07:56:46.551-05:00be prepared for someone to come by and anonymously...be prepared for someone to come by and anonymously tell you how inhumane that was...

our first house had a dirt crawl space under the back half and a stone basement- with lots of mouse droppings in it...so we got a cat....
minimal mouse problem after that...

one winter we kept count with a paper on the frig on which every time she caught a mouse a little paw print was marked to indicate a "kill".

34 that first winter- she was good!life in the mom lanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05159048805132940308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5639216165860450331.post-58601834626761750922011-01-24T06:53:06.319-05:002011-01-24T06:53:06.319-05:00haha got to love the mice we tend to get a few fie...haha got to love the mice we tend to get a few field mice every winterRebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10213055916162799647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5639216165860450331.post-57450821752868999132011-01-24T06:07:43.402-05:002011-01-24T06:07:43.402-05:00We have had good luck with the sticky stuff.
