It is a New York City institution and ours is only one of three outside of NYC.  I am so excited! After years of reading rave reviews from some of my favorite food bloggers like Feisty Foodie and GrubGrade I am thrilled that we can pop over to DC for some wonderfulness that is a Shake Shack burger [website].

Hallelujah!

This will be worth going out to eat.  :skippyhappydanceskippyhappydance:

Now I am off to find my lovely driver husband to convince him Saturday would be perfect for a visit.

Never heard of Shake Shake but the name sounds good. So happy to see you so happy.

Now should I tell you when I first read this I thought it said snake shake and I was wondering why on earth you would want a snake shake.

Never heard of it until now! But I may have to try it next time I'm in town... whenever that is!

Afraid that I have never heard of Shake Shake either, but I am more than happy to share in your excitement about all this, SkippY!!
It's lovely to see you happy, and you will have to report back to us if you do go and visit them on Saturday! Loved Barb's comment above by the way!!

Love the less chained places. We have a few in town. I also like Harvey's which is a Canadian chain and by far the best of the big chains. I go there most with my daughter because they have an awesome veggie burger (Good enough that I'll order it too sometimes) Haven't had a shake in a million years though.

Well, good for you! It's sooooo aggravating to read about great eating and shopping places that aren't anywhere to be found in your area. Hope the Shake Shack turns out to be every bit as good as you're expecting. (If nothing else, they have a cool name!)
