You Know You Spend Too Much Time in Pajamas When....
....your husband walks in the door at the end of his work day and immediately notices you are dressed in blue jeans with a sweater and [innocently] says:
"You look pretty and smell good. Are we supposed to be somewhere?"
Well, at least pooldad DID notice and actually said something! My husband certainly wouldn't have noticed. When my daughter was getting married quite a long time ago, I came down into the kitchen with my wedding outfit on, shoes, hat, the lot, and he never said a word!!!!
Next time try nothing on at all and see what he says...hahaha. Oh darn, I forgot you have the little one at home. Yeah, Oh shut up is about all I would say too! You're so funny. H&C
This totally cracked me up! I have had similar things happen with my students when I wear make-up and put on clothes that are a bit nicer...they'll ask me if I have a meeting :-)
So you had the shower then? Me too!
ReplyDeleteBut no one suggested going out :(
thanks for the chuckle.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, I totally get it and have done it - yikes.
ReplyDeleteYou should see the outfit my wife wears around the house and if she didn't have to change she would stay just like that.
ReplyDeleteIf I didn't have to leave the house...I would LIVE in my pjs!! & I love those days when I get to!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least Pooldad said something.....SM would probably notice but forget to say anything. Oops.
ReplyDelete*snicker*
